To be really honest i have no idea how the original might sound to be able to criticize the remix. I mean i have no idea what You did to change it.

Even though
this kind of music is not my cup of tea (being a musician I love action
and not loops) I can only comment on the refrain where you could switch to the
actual tone. Also a retro effect like old gramophone would be good at start.
You could also add some wind instruments loop for example in the refrain to
make it more interesting. Last, but most revolutionary would be a be-pop rhythm.
(fast swing).

However, since as I said I am completely out of this music all the above maybe crap so dont take it seriously

1)i know what you mean anesto but in hiphop what matters are the lyrics.the music is meant to be pretty "simple" and not distract the listener.i used to make music with more instruments and different loops but didn't match with hiphop.also that grammophone/vinyl effect has been done several times by several people so it's not that appealing to me.good comments though.ty
2)well i didn't like the "hard" snare with the sung chorus.that's why i added snaps.maybe i'll try a rimshot <.<
3)and um i didn't get arkkanna's comment but whatever
